Being Hope
Event description
'Being Hope'
Sharing in Indigenous ways of knowing, being and doing.
Yarning with Elders.
We are living in difficult times. Mental Health issues are on the rise, housing and homelessness are challenges many are struggling with, world politics, war and climate change are just some of the things we see in the media everyday! Are there Indigenous ways to better manage stress? What can we learn from our First Nations brothers and sisters?
Share and learn together.
Come and share the wisdom and knowledge of our First Nations cultural practices. Much of the day will be spent discussing how some of these ideas can be applied in the modern world. By walking together in a spirit of openness and generosity we are BEING HOPE to each other in our corner of the world
