Bellingen Child Restraint Fitting Station

Nearly 80% of child safety seats are used incorrectly! The two minutes you take each time you buckle up your child correctly can save their life.
Bellingen Shire Council is offering a free child restraint fitting service for residents. The Restraint Fitting Station will ensure that both baby seats and child seats are installed and fitted correctly. This service will be delivered by a Transport for NSW Authorised Restraint Fitter.
On Friday, 6 October 2023 between 9am and 1pm, there will be an In-Person restraint fitting service set up in the Bellingen Memorial Hall Carpark.
It is recommended that you make an appointment and if you have two or more car seats please book two or more appointments (each car seat will take 15 minutes. If you have two car seats you will need a thirty minute appointment).
