Bellingen Shire FUTYR Community Workshop: Dorrigo

Bellingen Shire Council is inviting all community members to participate in a series of workshops designed to help shape the future of our region.

Earlier this year, more than 1,600 community members shared their views and ideas through the 2024 MARKYT® Community Scorecard.

CATALYSE ® Pty Ltd, an independent research and strategic planning company, will now host three community workshops in November to help prepare how we Plan for the Future.

The results from the Scorecard and feedback received in these community workshops will be used to help review the Bellingen Shire Community Vision 2035, ensuring that the document is still reflective of our community’s priorities and aspirations.

The purpose of the workshops are to:

• Provide an overview of findings from the 2024 MARKYT® Community Scorecard where we heard views and opinions from more than 1,600 community members.
• Review community suggestions and help to prioritise proposed actions to address local needs.
