BELONGING - dance . song . connection - conscious dance retreat with Caitlin 2025
Event description
Does your soul long for a fuller expression of your unique authenticity? Could you be fully welcome as you are, and find your place in a community where you feel a true sense of BELONGING?
I invite you to join me for our 12th delicious deep dive into the medicine of dance, song, story & silence - weaving together the practices of Dancing Freedom & Open Floor together in a full body, mind, heart & soul immersion in community.
I am very happy to be supported again by my amazing assistant - the wonderful & wise Sara-Jane Cleland offering Yoga, Sacred Altars & Space-holding who has been co-creating these spaces with me for 4 years & 12 retreats since our first FULL CIRCLE retreat - COURAGE in 2022. Our third team member offering emotional support and space holding will be confirmed soon.
We are so lucky to be returning to the gorgeous Heartspace Retreat Centre in Yass, on the expansive country of Ngunnawal. All organic food lovingly prepared by chef Angie Cowen - including local seasonal produce straight from the garden!
BELONGING lands halfway between the Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice, on the Celtic festival known as Beltane - at the beginning of Summer, when the fullness of life's creativity is bursting forth in beauty and exuberance.
This retreat is an opportunity to resource yourself from a deeper and more connected way of being, to discover greater sources of strength and nourishment for living a heart & soul centered life.
Belonging is the innate human desire to be part of something larger than us. Because this yearning is so primal, we often try to acquire it by fitting in and by seeking approval, which are not only hollow substitutes for belonging, but often barriers to it. Because true belonging only happens when we present our authentic, imperfect selves to the world, our sense of belonging can never be greater than our level of self-acceptance. – Brené Brown
Knowing that the time is now
To seek within
To express your truth
To welcome all as part of the whole
To leave no-one and nothing out of our common-unity.
A time to remember the medicines of dance & song,
Of sharing food and gathering around the fire.
These simple things that remind us how to live.
To live a meaningful life,
A soulful life.
A time to come together
To share and learn
And to reclaim our birthright
To live in connection and reciprocity with the earth and each other.
A time for BELONGING.
