Description
Join the BELT Choir on September 30th as we sing You Will Be Fonud from Dear Evan Hansen!
In the span of two hours, we’ll warm up our voices, learn the songs together in SATB harmony (soprano, alto, tenor, bass), and then sing them through as a group. It’s low-pressure, guided, and all about the joy of singing in a room full of people. No singing experience needed!
This is an all-ages event — everyone is welcome!!! Come with friends, family, or on your own.

FAQs
- Do I need choir or singing experience?
Not at all! BELT Choir is for everyone - whether you’ve sung in choirs your whole life or haven’t sung since elementary school music class.
- Do I need to be able to read music?
Nope! We provide sheet music (digital or physical copy), but everything is taught step-by-step out loud - the sheet music can just be used for the lyrics!
- How do I pick what section to sing?
Our team will be happy to guide you into a section (soprano, alto, tenor, or bass) based on what feels most comfortable for your range - but nothing is set in stone. You're welcome to try out whichever part you feel like singing!
- Do I need to bring anything?
Just a water bottle and maybe a pencil if you want to make notes!
- Can I come alone?
Absolutely! So many people do, and they leave with new friends. BELT is very community-focused and designed to feel welcoming.
- Can I come with my child?
Yes! Our choir events are all ages.
- Is it performance-focused?
Not at all. BELT Choir is about participation, connection, and feeling the joy of singing together - not perfection.
- Is there a performance at the end?
A mini one - just for us. We usually finish with enough time to get through the song twice as a full group before we wrap up.
- Can I take photos/ videos during the event?
Yes, definitely! BELT will also record the full final 'performance' and post to our YouTube page here.
- Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are fully refundable up to 24 hours before the event - this can be processed independently via Humanitix.
