FAQs

• Do I have to sing on the mic?

  Nope! Only one sign-up is randomly drawn per song. Everyone else belts from the crowd - full-volume encouraged.

• How does the karaoke work?

  We take one musical and sing the entire thing from the top of ACT I to the bottom of ACT II in a karaoke sing-along style.

  Each song has 5 sign-up spots and you can sign for your top 3 favs. For every song, we randomly select one sign-up to take the mic, while everyone else belts from the crowd.

  It keeps things fair, fun, and super high-energy, with the whole room singing every number start to finish!

• How does open karaoke work?

  After the finale, we will open things up to general karaoke (musical theatre songs encouraged!!).
  
  The duration of open karaoke will be dependent on the length of the main musical, and we always prioritize people who haven’t sung yet!

• Can I sing with friends?

  Yes please. Duets, group numbers, dramatic ensemble moments encouraged!!

• Do I need to be a 'good singer'?

  Absolutely not. BELT karaoke is about having fun, not sounding good. If you love musicals, you’re in the right place.

• Can I come alone?

  YES. Please. So many people do and leave with new friends.

• Is there assigned seating?

  Nope! Our karaoke events are general admission / open seating or standing unless otherwise specified.

• Are tickets refundable?

  Tickets are fully refundable up to 24 hours before the event - this can be processed independently via Humanitix.

• Can I come with my child?

  Currently our karaoke events are 19+.
