Sister, what happens when something within you is ready to take form?

Do you trust your hands? Second-guess what you know? Push through, reach for support, or wait until you’re certain you can get it right?

The way we create can reveal so much about the way we move through life.

On astronomical Beltane, we gather in sacred circle for a full day of drum making, ritual and self-discovery. Working with your choice of deer skin or kangaroo hide, you’ll craft your own medicine drum and beater, bringing something deeply personal into being with your own hands.

Beltane honours the rising life force of the earth — fertility, sensuality, creative fire and the meeting of possibility with form. Here, fertility includes the ideas, dreams and ways of being that are asking to be born through you.

With the Sun in Scorpio, we’ll weave in the astrological themes of transformation, surrender and rebirth, asking:

What am I ready to bring to life — and what happens within me when I begin?

🔥 The making becomes the teaching.

Throughout the day, we’ll explore birth imprint as a reflective lens: bringing curiosity to the stories surrounding your own arrival into the world and the patterns you notice when beginning, creating and completing something meaningful.

There is no need to know your birth story or share anything you wish to keep private. The invitation is to notice what emerges through the making itself.

How do you meet uncertainty? What happens when you need help? Can you honour your own rhythm? Can you allow your creation to take its own shape?

Held in circle, these moments become opportunities to practise self-trust, receive support and recognise another way forward.

During our day together, you’ll:

🔥 Be guided through ritual and shamanic journeying to connect with your intention and the materials you’re working with.

🔥 Craft your own deer skin or kangaroo hide drum, with guidance through each stage of the making.

🔥 Explore your relationship with creativity, control, patience, support and surrender.

🔥 Make your own drum beater — you’re welcome to bring a special stick you’ve gathered for this purpose.

🔥 Share the day in sacred circle, with space to be witnessed and supported as your drum takes form.

You’ll leave with your own handmade drum and beater, personal insights into your creative process, and a tangible reminder of what you can bring into being when you trust yourself and allow support.

All drum-making materials are provided. Bring your journal, water, a dish for our shared lunch, and any meaningful items you’d like beside you as you create.

No previous drum-making experience is needed.
