Event description

The Australian Breastfeeding Association presents a morning of education that will build on your breastfeeding knowledge and provide you with more resources for your professional practice. Our ABA volunteers are excited to be offering our highly rated class to student midwives at Curtin University on Saturday 28th November 2024, 9am – 12pm. The class will be taught by qualified breastfeeding counsellors and educators and include a live demonstration of breastfeeding and Q&A session with a volunteer mother and baby. Morning tea will also be provided during the break, with the opportunity to network with presenters and other students. Student midwives from all universities are welcome to attend.

The Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) is Australia's peak breastfeeding information and support service. Breastfeeding is a practical, learned skill and ABA helps more than 80,000 mothers each year. ABA also provides up-to-date information and continuing education for thousands of health professionals working with mothers and babies.

Spaces are limited, so register now to ensure your place. Entry is $15 to be paid when booking.
