Description

About this Event

Walk for Change. Run for Respect.

Join us during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence and as part of the City of Greater Bendigo's Summer in the Parks program for a free, family-friendly community walk and run that brings people together to raise awareness, show support and take a stand against gender-based violence.

This is a non-competitive event focused on community participation and awareness raising. There are no bibs, timing systems or pressure to complete the course. Simply walk, jog or run at your own pace and enjoy being part of a positive community event.

Whether you choose to participate in the walk or run, or simply enjoy the vibrant Event Village atmosphere, your presence helps send a powerful message that violence has no place in our community.

Bring your family, invite your friends, wear a touch of orange, and help create a safer, more respectful community.

Every step counts.
