Event description

RIGHT NOW IS THE KEY TIME FOR RABBIT CONTROL

When the ground is dry and food becomes more scarce it is the best time to control rabbits.

At this workshop Aaron Stephens head of the B0ass Coast Landcare Invasive Species Team will discuss how to run an multi pronged control program on your property giving you the best results. We will also cover the best options for fox control.

Ecologist and environmental consultant Peter Gannon will discuss wildlife of South Gippsland that is impacted or threatened by these introduced pests.

We will then visit a nearby property for a practical demonstration of laying bait trails, setting traps and using a fumigation device. For demonstration purposes no toxic chemicals will be used.
