Between Playwrights: A Conversation with Branden Jacobs-Jenkins and Jocelyn Bioh Presented by the Dramatists Guild Foundation

Stories start with the writer. Pulitzer Prize finalist and Tony Award-winning playwright Branden Jacobs-Jenkins (Purpose, Appropriate on Broadway) and Tony Award Nominee Jocelyn Bioh (Jaja's African Hair Braiding, School Girls; Or, The African Mean Girls Play) come together to discuss the art of playwriting, how they start a story, and the importance of collaboration and mentorship throughout their writing careers. The conversation will be moderated by Jacqueline Jordan, Community Engagement Senior Manager, at the Dramatists Guild Foundation. 

This event is presented by the Dramatists Guild Foundation through partnership with the Museum of Broadway, in celebration of the new special exhibition, Crafting Excellence: Black Storytellers on Broadway.
