Beverley Kids After School Art Class Term 3
Description
Give your child the chance to get creative after school with our Term 3 art program from Beverley Station Arts.
Designed for ages 8-12, this is an 8-week course running Mondays from 3:30 - 5:00PM, July 27th to September 14th at Studio 119 on Vincent Street.
Each term will cover a new artistic medium, with term 3 focusing on pastels and paints.
Discover the magic of colour theory to bring objects to life and create 2D artworks in a variety of mediums including the use of Pastels and Paint, along with Drawing and Composition skills.
More than just a class, this program encourages kids to think and work like real artists, culminating in the exciting opportunity to exhibit their work in a gallery setting at the end of term.
Thanks to support from the Government of Western Australia, fees are heavily subsidised at just $10 per class (normally $30).
The program will be led by local Beverley artists from Studio 119, with the Term 3 syllabus created by Marion Luck.
Marion holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education and is currently employed as a Fine Arts teacher. She runs her own studio in Beverley, conducting private classes for adults, and facilitating a workspace for other visiting artists. "As an artist I remain enthusiastic about continuing my practices in a wide variety of media, producing works for sale and exhibition. I also have an interest in aiding up & coming Artists in developing their Arts practice."
With limited places available and high demand expected, we encourage early registration to avoid disappointment.
