Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks film and the outrageously fun Broadway musical, Shrek The Musical Jr brings everyone’s favourite ogre to life in a big, bright, beautiful way.

Once upon a time, in a faraway swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. When his quiet home is invaded by a gang of fairytale misfits - banished by the tiny-but-mighty Lord Farquaad - Shrek sets off on a wild quest to reclaim his land. Along the way, he’s joined by a talking donkey and a fiercely not-so-traditional princess with a secret of her own.

What unfolds is part rescue mission, part love story, and ALL heart - complete with singing dragons, tap-dancing rats, and a whole lot of happily-ever-after energy.

Full of over-the-top characters you love, catchy tunes, and laugh-out-loud moments, Shrek Jr is a magical musical for the whole family. Big voices. Big laughs. Even bigger heart.

This show is proudly brought to you by the students of BeXD Create as part of our Musical in a Week holiday workshop. Our talented young cast (ages 6–16) have rehearsed, staged, and brought this full-scale production to life in just six days.
