It’s a landmark year for global environmental action, with a rare “triple COP” of the Rio Conventions taking place in quick succession in autumn 2026. We are offering this online event as a space to unpack what unfolded (and what didn’t) and to explore what these outcomes mean for UK‑based environmental professionals.

More Information: The Rio Conventions address the interconnected global challenges of climate change (UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)), biodiversity loss (Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD)) and desertification (UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD)). Each United Nation (UN) convention has its own annual Conference of the Parties (COP), where governments come together to review progress, negotiate commitments and agree future action.
