Description

This Beyond IFS consultation group of 7 people will meet with Bob for 90 minutes for 8 sessions, meeting every two weeks.

The group will emphasize working with Unattached Burdens and Guides and the spiritual dimensions of working to heal trauma.

Groups also meet without Bob in the weeks between these sessions for peer-to-peer consultation and to do suggested exercises there will not be time for in the groups sessions, and to develop a supportive peer-group community.

Registration opens October 13 and is non-refundable, so please check your local dates and times before you checkout.

$575 + fees

The initial session will be general in focus, and sessions 2 - 8 will each highlight one of the participants for 50 minutes to 1 hour, followed by ≈30 minutes of discussion and/or didactic.

Each participant chooses how to use their own session to best serve themselves: eg, demos, case consultations, bringing a client to the session, or something else.

You may record your own session on your local computer and share with others if you wish.

Your peer-group can usually answer many of the supervision questions that people would like to bring to Bob, and some cohorts have continued to meet after the formal consultation group is over.

Bob created a lovely container for individual work with each one of us, and in my session, I got the opportunity to unburden a deeply buried exile and release the UB connected to it.

Bob Falconer’s work arises from a lifelong devotion to healing, inner transformation, and spiritual inquiry. In the early decades of his career, he worked primarily with men who had experienced profound sexual and physical abuse, drawing both on his professional training, his lived experience, and his own path of recovery. During this time, he employed a range of parts-oriented approaches, including Ego State Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and the work of Pia Mellody.

More than twenty years ago, Bob discovered Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, which became the central framework for his clinical, teaching, and writing work. He experiences IFS not only as a therapeutic model, but as a spiritually aligned path—one that honors the innate wisdom, wholeness, and Self-leadership within each person. His work is deeply informed by an ongoing relationship with Spirit and a sustained commitment to personal inner work.

Bob has served on staff for more than twenty official IFS Institute trainings and has completed the highest level of IFS training. He has taught and led trainings internationally—both online and in person—including in Pakistan, China, South Korea, Mexico, Poland, Spain, Canada, the United Kingdom, and with the Fort Belknap and Northern Cheyenne reservations.

He is the author of five books exploring IFS, inner life, and spiritual healing: Many Minds, One Self (2017), co-authored with Richard C. Schwartz, founder of IFS; The Others Within Us (2023); When Going Through Hell… Keep Going (2024); Opening the Inner World (2025), co-authored with two scholars of Emanuel Swedenborg; and Spirit (2025), drawn from decades of journals documenting his daily dialogues with Spirit. Bob's latest book, Self Unbroken will be released in 2026. Bob has also engaged with psychedelic exploration since 1967 and continues to view it as a potent doorway to healing and spiritual insight.

Now in his seventies, Bob’s focus is on writing, teaching, mentoring, and illuminating the spiritual dimensions of healing. He leads supervision groups and continues to work occasionally with individuals, often in collaboration with their primary therapist.
