Event description

BEYOND RIGHT + WRONG

becoming a valuable resource for ourselves + all our important relationships ... by choice

3 x short workshops exploring the skills and principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC)*

with Kate Raffin - Certified Trainer with the Centre for Nonviolent Communication

1. Monday 21st July 12 noon - 2pm

2. Monday 21st July 5.30 - 7.30pm

3. Tuesday 22nd July 5.30 - 7.30pm

You are welcome to join 1, 2 or all 3 of these.

We will use real life examples to increase our choices in responding more effectively everywhere in our lives ... at home, work + in the community.

We aim to :

  • Increase our capacity to engage effectively with others even in challenging situations + long-term dynamics

  • Cut the exhausting guesswork by attending to what will really make a difference

  • Transform patterns of separation, scarcity and powerlessness into TOGETHERNESS, CHOICE + FLOW

  • Stay open, curious and effective when tension arises

  • Be in the world with nothing to hide

  • Dare to dream and be VISION driven - the most powerful quality of all nonviolent people-led living and change

  • Co-create practices that support us to celebrate, mourn and learn from everything that happens as a way to maintain healthy digestion of all that happens in our lives

  • Create the support we need to sustain ourselves while attending to what truly matters

  • Contribute to others well-being while simultaneously attending to ours

  • Maximise readiness to respond to all of life - no matter how it shows up

  • Finding freedom and power in responding empathically in challenging circumstances

* 'NVC shows us a way of being very honest, but without any criticism, insults, or putdowns, and without any intellectual diagnosis implying wrongness' - Marshall Rosenberg

These workshops will be in person only.
