School’s Out — Let’s Get Out There!

Each Thursday in January, Beyond The Bell hits the harbour to explore some of Sydney’s most iconic spots — from Watsons Bay to Manly and Tumbalong Park at Darling Harbour.

Think ferry rides, beach time, playgrounds, and park picnics — all led by our trusted BTB educators. These days are easygoing, full of laughs, and the perfect way to extend the camp week with a big Sydney day out.

With pick-ups available from Balmain East, Rose Bay, and Neutral Bay wharves, kids start their day with a ferry adventure and end it with new memories, sandy shoes, and happy hearts.

A Day at BTB Out + About Thursdays Might Look Like:

🕗 8:00 AM – Arrivals + Morning Meet-Up
Staff greet campers at the wharves. Bags checked, sunscreen on — ready to go!

🛥️ 9:00 AM – Ferry Adventure Begins
Off across Sydney Harbour to the day’s destination — excitement guaranteed.

🌴 10:00 AM – Explore + Play
Beach games, scavenger hunts, and time to discover new places with friends.

🍎 11:30 AM – Morning Tea + Chill Time
A quick break before diving back into the fun.

🥪 12:30 PM – Picnic Lunch
Everyone eats together before more park games or water play (for confident swimmers).

🎯 1:30 PM – Group Challenge or Activity
BTB-style teamwork and fun — sandcastle contests, nature hunts, or mini tournaments.

🚤 3:30 PM – Ferry Ride Home
Back to Balmain East, Rose Bay, and Neutral Bay for pick-up until 4:30 PM.
