    Event description

Are you concerned about how teenage girls feel about their bodies, especially with summer approaching?

Not sure how to support them in developing a healthy relationship with their body image?

Join us for an insightful panel discussion that empowers those who care for teenage girls—parents, educators, and mentors alike—to guide them toward a positive and confident relationship with their bodies.

Hosted by EQ and The Flourish Journey, this event brings together experts who will share practical strategies, personal stories, and tools to help you foster self-esteem and resilience in the young people you support.

    What you can expect:

    • How to approach sensitive conversations about body image and self-esteem
    • Insights from mental health professionals, individuals with lived experience, and parents
    • Practical strategies to help teens build a healthy relationship with their body image

    Panelists Include:

    • Helen Lewitan – Head of Mental Health at The Flourish Journey, Clinical Psychologist (as HOST)
    • Jaimee Krawitz – Registered Counsellor and Founder of Hide N Seek Foundation
    • Fiona Sanford - CEO of The Flourish Journey, ex-award winning competitive gymnast
    • A young person with lived experience
    • A parent who has supported their child through body image challenges

Remember, it takes a village to elevate a teenage girl. By coming together, we can provide the love and support they need to thrive.
