Wondering "what's next?" after your PhD? You're not alone! This 2-part workshop helps you take control of your future through practical career planning and self-discovery. Through engaging exercises, you'll uncover what you're really good at and what kind of work energises you. We'll look realistically at today's job market and show you clever ways to find opportunities you might never have considered.

You'll leave with two valuable tools: a clear career plan and a publication strategy. These will help you make confident decisions about your future and stand out in both academic and non-academic careers.

• Be able to devise a career action plan tailored to your goals.

Having progressed from PhD student, to postdoc, to commercial development manager to learning advisor, Lindsay has experienced the challenges of post-PhD career transitions firsthand. She combines her 17 years of higher education experience with insights from commercial development and academia to help researchers develop their career plan. Her workshops draw from personal experience and research to help you avoid common pitfalls and uncover opportunities in your own career journey.
