Whether you're a parent, athlete, student, council member or just care about your local environment, this community event is designed to inform, inspire and connect.
Start your day with citizen science: The event will kick off with three of AUSMAP’s microplastic monitoring sessions which lets you help log real data on microplastic pollution.
Enjoy morning tea and meet the community: Light snacks and friendly welcomes from the AUSMAP and Seabin Foundation teams.
Learn what’s really underfoot: Our “Turf Talk” will share the hidden truth behind synthetic turf – from microplastics and rubber crumb to runoff and health concerns backed by real data and engaging visuals.
