Description
Creating Pathways to Opportunity: How Financial Inclusion Empowers Communities
Hosted by AMP Foundation | BFGN Webinar Series
What Becomes Possible When More People Have the Opportunity to Thrive?
The opportunity to shape your own future starts with access. Access to meaningful work, skills, resources, and the confidence to take the next step. Yet for many people, financial barriers and limited opportunities can make it difficult to participate fully in community life.
Join us for a panel discussion exploring how social enterprises are creating the conditions for economic empowerment through financial inclusion. From opening employment pathways to making community sport more accessible and valuing local knowledge, our panellists are taking different approaches to a shared ambition: helping more people build their own futures.
Facilitated by Lucy Watson, AMP Foundation Tomorrow Makers Program Manager, this session will feature three Tomorrow Makers whose work puts community needs at the centre of change.

Economic empowerment is about enabling individuals and communities to gain the skills, confidence, resources, and opportunities they need to shape their own futures. How can social enterprises help make that possible, and what can we learn from those already doing the work?
This panel will explore the connections between financial inclusion, employment, participation, and belonging. Our speakers will share the ideas behind their enterprises, the barriers they are working to address, and what they are learning along the way.
Whether you are building a social enterprise, supporting community initiatives, or exploring how your organisation can create more inclusive opportunities, this session will offer practical reflections and fresh perspectives from founders working closely with their communities.
