Do you live or work in the City of Yarra and want to help new parents in your community?
Join this one-day session to learn how Birth for Humankind’s (volunteer) community doula program helps new parents – especially those facing systemic disadvantage – feel more confident and supported.
Discover how you can help strengthen the connection between families and local services, while fostering a nurturing environment that empowers parents during the critical postnatal period.
Session overview:
- An introduction to postnatal support skills and knowledge.
- Learn how you could become a postnatal doula with Birth for Humankind (including access to discount and scholarship options).
- Chat with our experienced program and doula training staff.
- Enjoy some great conversations and light refreshments.

- Who can attend: Anyone living or working in the City of Yarra and interested in supporting families by completing Birth for Humankind's full postnatal doula training (2025 dates to be announced) and volunteering with us.
