Big Brothers Big Sisters Aquathon - 3rd December 2023

Thanks for supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters Wangaratta's AQUATHON ! If you were involved in our first event you already know how much fun it was.  We would love you to part our this event, and join the community for a great day out. We are so appreciative of the generous sponsorship provided by our friends at ALPINE TRUSS PTY LTD, the WANGARATTA RSL, as well as the support we receive from the amazing team at the Rural City of Wangaratta. EVENT INFORMATION

The BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS AQUATHON 2023 will have three categories for you to compete in. 

You can compete individually or in a Squad of 2 or 3.

You can choose to be a MARLIN, CLOWNFISH or a GOLDFISH, just work out which category best suits your skills.

	MARLIN
	This is for competitive sports people who want to go all out and test their skills. You may only compete as an individual in this event. You will need to be 13 years of age or older.
	Cost:             $30 Event:           2km run - 400 m swim - 2km run

	CLOWNFISH
	This is for those who enjoy a bit of fun, maybe haven’t quite got all the skills yet,  but still want to participate.  This is an all age event.  You can make up a Squad with anyone you'd like, parents and children, carers and friends, or any members of the family to make up of 2 or 3.  Each person in your Squad can do one leg each or one person can swim, and one person can do both runs.  Whatever makes your Squad work best for you.
	Cost:            $30 individual             $60 squad Event: 1km run - 200 m swim - 1km run

	GOLDFISH
	This is for 12 years old and under to give it your best go.  You may compete individually or form a Squad of 2 or 3.  Each person in your Squad can do one leg each or one person can swim, and one person can run.
	Cost:            $15 individual             $30 squad Event:          500 m run - 50 m swim - 500 m run

PRIZES

There will be cash prizes for 1st place in each category, and additional prizes for 2nd and 3rd place.

Stay tuned for other prizes to be awarded on the day.

A $250 cash prize will be paid to the organisation, school, club or group who registers the most participants in the Aquathon. 

Make sure you include the name of your group or organisation when you register.

MERCHANDISE

A limited number of sublimated Aquathon 2023 Singlets are available for sale when purchasing your tickets.  Please make your purchase when register to ensure supply.  You will be able to pick up your singlet when you checking in on the day.
