Big Dang Friday featuring Radical Joy and Rainbow Rats
Event description
Friday night improv just got better; it's now Big Dang Friday! April 18 features Stomping Ground improv house team Radical Joy and the colorful comedy of Rainbow Rats!
Radical Joy, Stomping Ground’s newest improv House Team, presents an unscripted experience like no other. Find humor in the unexpected and absurd as the group takes you to a fully improvised funeral. Performers portray mourners with varying relationships to the deceased and offer a brief eulogy to the audience; with each eulogy comes a glimpse into the deceased’s life that reveals absurdity, chaos, and most of all laughter. Performers include Chris Eisterhold, Lin Woodson, Elli Baker, Tyler Vornberg, Brandon Enriquez, Isabelle Qui, and Juan Zaragoza III. The team is coached by Joel Mendez-Zarate.
The quick-witted rodents of Stomping Ground's LTBTQIA+ Team Rainbow Rats will spin your suggestions into side-splitting scenes, creating stories on the spot that are as diverse and vibrant as the rainbow itself. From relatable queer experiences to absurd flights of fancy, nothing is off-limits as the Rats navigate the unpredictable world of improv. Whether you're a long-time improv enthusiast or just looking for a fun and inclusive night out, the Rainbow Rats are ready to deliver a performance you won't soon forget. Come join the pack – it's gonna be a wild ride! Featuring Jared Hunte, Javier Enriquez, Victoria Hines, Lupe Guzman Jr, Siali Siaosi, Dani Singleton, Nan Kirkpatrick, Will Holston, Nik Malev, and Sarah Woynicz. Rainbow Rats are coached by Milo Michelle Wilder and Stephanie Bell.
