Big Dang Friday featuring Vocal Fried & Fugue State

Friday night improv just got better; it's now Big Dang Friday! Third Fridays of the month feature made-up songs that you'll be humming along with from Vocal Fried and Fugue State!

Stomping Ground’s musical house team, Vocal Fried, presents Once Upon a Tune: an improvised musical narrative with dynamic characters and catchy musical numbers, all inspired by your suggestions. Vocal Fried features Will Holston, Kelly Kaufman, Raymund King, Nan Kirkpatrick, Kimber Martin, Andrew Missel, Wes Phillips, and David Zhu. Coached by Tristen Rouse and Musical Direction by Anthony Nagid.

In Fugue State, one man and one pianist create a one-of-a-kind musical on the spot! Stomping Ground Training Center Director and veteran performer Greg Mihalik improvises a musical by himself with the help of esteemed accompanist and musical director Joshua Diamond. Watch in wonder as Greg takes the audience on a musical journey that follows the path of several unique, larger-than-life characters all played by one man. Come see what the Dallas Observer called "a one-man show that's actually impressive."

Rated M for Mature/18+. Ticket prices are $10 (plus fees) in advance and $14 at the door. Stomping Ground is BYOB. Alcoholic beverages are allowed for all attendees over 21 years old; patrons are asked to enjoy them responsibly.
