Big Fish Startup Bootcamp is back ~ Join us at the 2022 Big Fish Program and learn how to turn your ideas into reality!
Bringing together young entrepreneurs from our FNQ region (aged 13 – 18) for 2 days of intensive and fun learning through doing. You’ll be guided through the creative entrepreneurship process. We are super excited to have previous Australian Young Innovator of the Year Taj Pabari from Australian School of Entrepreneurship leading our Big Fish 2022.
You WILL start a new enterprise in two days!
On day one, bright ideas will be brainstormed, and you will form teams.
On day two, you will discover how to turn ideas into real business ventures.
Two days of fun and experimental workshops, inspiring mentors and good food, all culminating in a final Pitch event with special guest judges. All participants will walk away with new skills, industry and peer connections, future career insights and inspiration.
No prior knowledge of start-ups or entrepreneurship needed, just a great attitude.
When: 9am - 5pm Wednesday 13th April | 9am- 5pm Thursday 14th April 2022 (During the School Holidays)
Where: CQUniversity Cairns, Level 3, Corner Abbott and Shields Streets
Cost: No cost. including lunch and snacks during the 2-day event. We are able to waive the event cost per participant, thanks to funding and support from sponsors Y(E)P Entrepreneurship Facilitators, AusIndustry, Advance Queensland and CQUniversity.
There’s a limit of participants from ages 13 - 18, so you’ll need to complete a short application with a few questions around why you should be chosen to attend Big Fish Cairns 2022.Applications close midday on the 8th of April and successful applicants notified.
