Big Heart Beach Bus

Wanna be able to join in with a bunch of like minded beachy people to hit the waves once a month?

Do you need transport or a girl gang to hang with so you get to hit the water with others?

You might be a wannabe surfer or bodyboarder who would love to grab a beginner lesson or just practise in the water hiring gear locally.  

Or if you have your own body board you can bring it along!

Empowering our women's adventure community to grow and thrive, the Big Heart Beach Bus is providing the means to make it happen!!!

The Big Heart Beach Bus is departing Saturday March 2nd, April 6th and May 11th for a day of fun!!

Here are the timings and locations which may vary slightly on the day :)

Departs 8am from Marion Shopping Centre (earlier pick up possible north of city and CBD by prior arrangement)

Arrive Middleton/Goolwa at 9.30am (comfort stop along the way in Mt Compass) to suit up/book in to lesson/hire gear locally.

10am til 12 noon - free time (lesson or unsupervised water activities)

Approx 12.30pm - drive to Goolwa - multiple lunch spots to choose from (own expense)

Approx 2pm - depart for Adelaide

Approx 3.30pm - Drop off at Marion Shopping Centre Carpark

Price includes transport only in the Big Heart Bus - all surf lessons, water activities and gear hire is locally organised at Middleton/Goolwa - we will put you in touch with awesome local operators!!  

Free time is unsupervised and the beaches we visit are unpatrolled - be safety aware

You can choose to hit the waves with a board, participate in a surf lesson with local operators, walk, swim, relax 

BYO gear - water (consider extra for sand wash off!), flip flops, towel, swimwear, wetsuit (or hire), bodyboard (sorry no room for surf boards, you can hire locally though!), snacks, suncream/zinc, hat, sunnies, clothing to change into after the water, basic first aid kit!
