Join Erin Lee (Author, The Little Book of Big Intentions & Founder of The Mindful Yoga School) with JOHN BUTLER playing live from his recently released ambient album Running River, exclusively for the PERTH tour stop.

During this yoga-live music event, you're invited to embody the big intention of KINDNESS.

"We can talk about ending war and we can march for ending war, we can do everything in our power, but war is never going to end as long as our hearts are hardened against each other."- Pema Chodron

Consider your time at this event an inner march for world peace. Activate Kindness within; create a ripple effect of Kindness out.

Bathe in the incredible sounds of John's live music from Running River ("like a big hug for the nervous system") as Erin guides you through a mindful yoga session, incorporating flowing, restorative and yin postures.

Soak up inspirational readings, stories and messages of Kindness, and discover new ways to cultivate and embody it.

This event is suitable for beginners through to advanced yoga practitioners and teachers. Erin offers physical modifications so you can meet yourself where you're at - in the moment.

"Kindness awakens the heart, and is the goodness that exists within us all." ~ The Little Book of Big Intentions

Erin Lee John Butler Big Intentions Yoga-Live Music Tour PERTH

This event features incredible live music by:

      JOHN BUTLER

John Butler is one of Australia’s premiere alternative songwriters and storytellers with accolades spanning from #1 charting albums, platinum records and ARIA Awards across his illustrious career as one of the country’s most successful independent musicians.

His rich catalogue of iconic hits spanning over a quarter of a century include signature songs such as ‘Zebra’, ‘Better Than’, ‘Ocean’ and more. His music continues to traverse the globe.

His Running River albumreleased May 2024, is a whole different side to Butler – a journey of healing. Fans of his classic and ever-evolving masterpiece “Ocean” will already know the power and emotion of Butler’s instrumentals and Running River takes this to another level. The artist shares that it’s the makings of an anxious and disjointed society that inspired the record, saying,

“I feel that life in an age of post-truth, social media and relentless data inundation, environmental, social and political strain, and – if I was not too bold to say global society collectively, at least in the west – is a bit shattered in the nervous system department.”

In reference to this newly minimalist style, Butler says,

“I’m always taken by how music by itself can make you feel and go to places that you can’t get to through intellect. I love when the lyrics of a song pass the baton onto the music to say everything the lyrics couldn’t.”

Running River is a soundtrack and prayer for a more peaceful 2024 and the perfect accompaniment for personal journeys.
