Event description

Hi to all of our members and supporters,

The JFP would like to invite to you to come with us on a FREE bus trip into the city to join the peaceful rally for WA's forests on 2nd June 2025

We want to support the Conservation Council of WA, The Wilderness Society and WA Forest Alliance at their rally at Parliament House to mark the end of the BIG JARRAH WALK being done by Ricky England, to raise awareness of the destructive mining by Alcoa and South32 and the urgent need to protect our magnificent Jarrah forests.

We are planning to take the bus to the back of Parliament house, but if you wish to do the walk from Supreme Court Gardens up the hill, we can drop passengers off there first.

If you would like to come and give your support please visit Humanitix (link here) and get your FREE ticket, this enables us to plan what size buses we will need. Please ensure you put your phone number in your ticket so we can advise in case of emergency.

Please be aware that the CUT OFF time to get tickets will be MIDNIGHT 29th April.

Here is our proposed itinerary.

1 PM - The JFP BUS will pick up passengers at Mundijong CRC the bus will leave at 1 pm, so do not be late!

2 PM - drop passengers who wish to walk up the hill at Supreme Court Gardens

Walk to Parliament House

JFP bus continues up the hill to rear of Parliament house,  the remaining passengers disembark.

3 PM rally begins—with Welcome to Country, speakers, music

4 PM - JFP BUS will leave rear of Parliament house no later than 4pm and return to Mundijong
