Bike Auckland 2025 AGM
Event description
Bike Auckland members and supporters are warmly invited to our Annual General Meeting (AGM), which not only takes care of key business, but also famously highlights the year’s most exciting developments for people on bikes and gives you a peek of what’s on the horizon. We will have presentations from our Chair, Karen Hormann as well as the wider Bike Auckland whānau.
The 2025 AGM will take place in person at the Covert Theatre in Ponsonby. Arrive 1pm for a 1.30pm start. Bike parking available.
After the formal proceedings there will be nibbles and a cash bar.
Nomination and election of Board Members
All named roles on the Board will be up for reelection as an agenda item at the AGM. These are Chair or Co-Chair, Deputy Chair, Secretary, or Treasurer. Collectively, these are the Officers of the Board. To put yourself or somebody else forward for a role on the Board, contact us in advance with your nomination. You can also suggest items to add to the agenda. Contact us at: info@bikeauckland.org.nz.
The current Chair Karen Hormann, Deputy Chair Duncan Laidlaw, Treasurer Juan Espinosa, and Secretary Clare Cudmore have confirmed they will stand again for their respective positions in 2025.
Side note: general Board Member roles are not elected at the AGM. To express your interest in a general Board Member role, contact the Chair at any time.
Not a Bike Auckland member? There's still time!
Please note that although we welcome anyone to attend the AGM, if you want to be able to vote you need to be a registered Bike Auckland member. You can sign up as a member through our website.
We currently have an AGM special - sign up for a year and get three months free. We appreciate your support to help us to keep doing all that we do for people on bikes in Tāmaki Makaurau.
Make sure to RSVP - even if you aren't coming
Save the date, and RSVP with your attendance or apology so we can keep in touch with attendees via email. To send an apology, click RSVP and select the "Apology" ticket type.
