Bike Auckland Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Event description
Bike Auckland members & supporters are warmly invited to our Annual General Meeting (AGM), which not only takes care of key business, but also famously highlights the year’s most exciting developments for people on bikes & gives you a peek of what’s on the horizon. We will have presentations from our Chair, Karen Hormann as well as key committee members and the wider Bike Auckland whānau.
The 2023 AGM will take place in-person and be streamed online for those that are unable to attend in person. Bookmark this link for the live-stream. https://bikeauckland.org.nz/livestream
After the formal proceedings there will be an optional bike ride to Silo Park where beverages, including those of the alcoholic kind, and nibbles will be available.
All roles on the board will be up for reelection as an agenda item at the AGM. To put yourself or somebody else forward for a role on the Board, contact us in advance with your nomination for Chair, Deputy Chair, Secretary, or Treasurer. You can also suggest items to add to the agenda. Contact us at: info@bikeauckland.org.nz. The current Chair Karen Hormann, Deputy Chair Duncan Laidlaw and Treasurer Juan Espinosa have confirmed they will stand again for their respective positions in 2023. Our Secretary position is currently vacant.
Please note that although we welcome anyone to attend the AGM, if you want to be able to vote you need to be a registered Bike Auckland member and attending in person. You can sign up as a member through our website.
We currently have an AGM special - sign up for a year here (https://www.bikeauckland.org.nz/coupon/VL76RFZS) and get three months free. We appreciate your support to help us to keep doing all that we do for people on bikes in Tāmaki Makaurau.
Save the date, and RSVP via Humanitix so we can keep in touch with attendees via email.
