Bike Basics DIY 101
Description
A little bike know-how can go a long way.
Bike Basics 101 is a free, friendly evening all about helping you understand your bike, build your repair skills and feel more confident getting out and riding.
Ted from Racers Edge will kick things off with a Bike 101 session, covering the essential fixes every rider should know, how to keep your bike running well and prevent problems in the first place, and what to carry with you on every ride. Questions are very welcome!
We’ll take a break halfway through for a drink and some snacks, then open things up for more questions and detailed demos. Ted will be joined by Joel and Kerry from Bike Glendhu and Simon from Wastebusters, giving you the chance to get up close, have a chat and learn more about the things you want to know.
Whether you’re fairly new to biking or you’ve been riding for years but usually leave repairs and maintenance to someone else, you’re very welcome.
The idea is simple: give you practical skills, help you feel more confident having a go at repairs yourself, and get more of us out enjoying our bikes.
