Event description
BOOK ACTIVITIES SEPARATELY BY USING LINKS BELOW
- Recycle your old bikes
2 to 5pm @ St Mary's Church, 240 Birrell's St, Bondi Junction.
Give your old wheels a second life. Bring any child/adult bikes, scooters & tricycles. Collected bikes are later repaired & redistributed, or recycled by Revolve Recycling. NO bookings required.
- Bike check and tune stations:
9.30am - 12pm @ Netball Courts Waverley Park.
Book your bike in for a free check-up and tune. This 15 minutes service will include a quick check over by a bike mechanic of tyres, gears and brakes. They will let you know if more repairs are needed, the potential costs or may be able to fix small issues on the spot. Push bikes only. Limited places, book here.
- Bike care and maintenance:
9.30am -12pm @ Netball Courts Waverley Park.
Gain the expertise and confidence to diagnose and repair issues with your bike at home or while on the go. From doing a bike check and keeping your bike clean and lubricated to easy ways to take your wheels and tyres on and off or fixing a flat tyre and more, this workshop is not to be missed. - Rusty Riders Bike Course
9.30am -12.30pm @ Netball Courts Waverley Park
Improve your cycling skills. Want to begin riding again but the thought of getting on a bike fills you with nerves? This is the perfect course for wobblers. Designed for those who know how to ride but need better bike handling skills before contemplating a ride on the road. Limited places, book here.
- City Cycling Course – 12.30 to 4.30pm Meet @ Margaret Whitlam Centre
Hit the fast forward to skills and confidence in city traffic. This course takes place on street, in real life traffic scenarios meaning you become an effective cyclist fast. Limited places, book here.
