Bike maintenance workshop- Beginners
Turner Scout Hall
Turner ACT, Australia
Description
Bikes are fairly simple machines and you can do a lot of maintenance yourself if you’d like. Pedal Power’s bike maintenance courses will give you the skills to conduct repairs yourself, whether you're at home or out on a ride.
This beginner course is a perfect follow-on from our bike basics course, and will cover gears, brakes, and more advanced skills around tyres and punctures.
We will cover:
- Brief summary of bike basics course.
- Repairing flat tyres
- Gears and tuning
- Tyres and brakes, including the set up of different brake systems.
- Tubeless setups.
What to bring: your bike, some snacks, a readiness to learn!
