Event description

Join us for a fun and inclusive cooking experience explicitly designed for NDIS participants! Our small group classes (3–4 participants) are all about building your kitchen confidence, learning how to create healthy, easy meals, and meeting new people in a supportive environment.

Who can join?
NDIS participants of all ages and abilities are welcome! Please note: registering for a ticket is an Expression of Interest only and does not confirm your spot. A team member will reach out to you to see if you're eligible and provide the Midland class address.

Cost:
Your NDIS Core Supports fully cover the class (no out-of-pocket cost). $106.40 for a two-hour session, billed from NDIS Plan (Core Funding- Category 4). We recommend discussing this with your Support Coordinator to ensure your funding is in place.

What’s included?

  • All ingredients and utensils provided
  • Learn to make a dish from scratch
  • Enjoy your meal as a group
  • Take home any leftovers!

Facilitator:
Led by our friendly Group Facilitator and trained chef, Alphonso. Participants can attend solo or with their Support Worker/companion.

What to bring:
Closed-in shoes are essential. Please let us know of any food allergies or dietary requirements when expressing your interest.

Important:
Your place is not confirmed until a Bila Community Group staff member contacts you and a Service Agreement is signed.
