Event description

2025 MIDYEAR SHOWCASE

Join us for our annual Midyear Showcase! This event is where our students take the stage to showcase everything they’ve learned so far this year. You’ll be amazed at what they’ve achieved in such a short time.

Bodies in Motion has been an integral part of the Port Douglas / Mossman Community for over 24 years. Currently, we’re home to 250+ students ranging from 2.5 years old to adults. Each December, we produce a professional production where the entire school participates. For the many years, our sell-out seasons in Port Douglas have drawn over 1,200 audience members. In 2025, BIM will again travel to CPAC in Cairns to stage their End of Year Production!

Producing such a high-level show comes with a significant price tag—around $90,000! To help cover the costs, we host a ‘Midyear Showcase’ fundraiser. It’s a relaxed, family-friendly day set up similarly to a school fete. Our students perform the routines they’ve been practicing in class, creating a supportive and fun environment. Audience members can participate in raffles, games, and cent sales!
