Savour a delicious meal while being swept away by a live performance from Bindi Bosses — a dynamic South Asian arts collective blending traditional classical and folk dance with the bold energy of cinema and street styles from around the world.
With four incredible dancers, this afternoon promises good food, vibrant art and inspiring conversation — a celebration of culture and community you won’t want to miss.
Bindi Bosses is an independent arts company that platforms diverse South Asian stories by blending Traditional, Folk and Street dances from around the world. It brings together BIPoC and First Nations artists, especially those who identify as womxn and/or Queer, to collaborate and create through Movement, Spoken Word, Design, Henna Art, Visual Art, Styling, Photography, Videography, Music Production and more. At the core of BINDI BOSSES practice is solidarity with the Traditional Custodians of the unceded lands on which it performs. BINDI BOSSES prioritises projects that centre and amplify the artistic expressions of marginalised peoples intersecting with Gender Diversity, Queerness, First Nations and People of Colour.
