Biocontrols in Action: Managing Paterson's Curse and St John's Wort

Join us for a practical workshop exploring the biological control of two significant pasture weeds, Paterson's Curse and St John's Wort.

We're pleased to be joined by Dr Rae Kwong from Agriculture Victoria, who will share her expertise on how biocontrol agents can be used as part of an integrated weed management approach. Participants will learn about the insects used to target these weeds, how they work, the conditions that influence their success, and management practices that can help support effective biocontrol outcomes.

The workshop will include both a presentation and a field-based session, giving attendees the opportunity to identify biocontrol agents in action and learn how to monitor their effectiveness on the ground.

Whether you're already using biocontrols or are curious about adding them to your weed management toolkit, this workshop will provide practical knowledge and real-world examples relevant to local landholders.
