Biodiversity Night Walk
Event description
Discover the Nightlife of Folland Park
Step into the quiet magic of Folland Park Reserve with ecologist Jason van Weenen for the Great Southern Bioblitz. This is a rare opportunity to explore a protected area of original Mallee and native pine woodland that once covered the Adelaide Plains, offering a vital snapshot of pre-colonial biodiversity and to observe the hidden nocturnal life of moths, bats and other critters.
Gain hands-on citizen science experience as you learn to document data and better understand the special creatures that call your local parkland home.
