Regional and peri-urban councils are restoring habitat, drawing down emissions, connecting and protecting Country and engaging the community. Hear from three councils about how they are weaving together their biodiversity work with all of these important strands of action.

  • Tom Meek and Amanda Smith, Yarra Ranges - enabling the community to support biodiversity through Ribbons of Green, and planned ecological burns

  • Tom Walker, Whittlesea - Releaf revegetation work at Bunjil Nganga Parkland
