Join us on Saturday, October 26th 9am to 1 pm, for an engaging Biodynamic Spring Workshop led by biodynamic experts Tony Browne and Hamish Mackay. This hands-on session will delve into the essential preparations and practices for spring, guided by the rhythms of the biodynamic calendar.
🌱 What You'll Learn:
- The importance of spring preparations, including making and applying key biodynamic preparations to enhance soil vitality and plant health.
- How to prepare Biodynamic Soil Activator from our Horn Manure 500 and Cow Pat Pit, an essential preparation buried over winter and ready for stirring and spreading to enliven the soil, each participant will take some soil activator home to apply to their farm / garden.
- Insights into biodynamic composting techniques and their role in creating nutrient-rich humus to support vibrant growth, making a compost activator - Lacto Bacilus based ferment which is simple to brew at home.
- The significance of biodynamic planting cycles, including how to align your gardening efforts with the lunar calendar for optimal results.
