Learn to make your own Bioferts

This is a fantastic opportunity to take part in a one-day Bioferts field day and training workshop, facilitated by Bioferts expert Daniel Hodges from Soil, Water and Plants.

A Biofert is a fertiliser that can be made on-farm using a variety of base ingredients. It is a brewed product that can be scaled from 20 litres to 20,000 litres, and it has a stable shelf life. Bioferts utilise beneficial bacteria to aid in the chelation of minerals, enhancing nutrient availability for plants.

During the workshop, you will make your own 60L cow manure biofert, a 60L EM based Biofert and a 20L EM that you can take home and use on your farm. Dan will also do a humic acid making demo.

Cost is $110 per head covering all materials and equipment.

Morning tea and lunch provided.

Bring your gloves, sturdy footwear and a chair, and clothes than can get dirty. We will be working outside.
