Birding in Bassendean's riverside habitats
Event description
Take a wander through some of Bassendean's diverse bird habitats with Dr Rochelle Steven from Murdoch University. You will be introduced to some of the many different species that call the river and its adjacent habitats home. You will learn how different birds need different habitats and perhaps even see or hear species you never knew existed right here in your community.
Meet at Hardy Road carpark entry to Ashfield Flats (limited parking - recommend walking/ carpooling / catching bus or park and walk 8 minutes from Ashfield Primary School).
Suitable for adults and children 14 years and above. Due to limited capacity, a maximum of 4 tickets applies per booking.
Please wear enclosed shoes, sun protection and bring a water bottle.
