Join us for a free engaging talk by Dr Holly Parsons that explores the fascinating world of the Gang-gang Cockatoo. You’ll hear what we know – and what we are still learning - about this iconic species, its current conservation status, and the challenges it faces in the wild. Dr Holly Parsons is the Manager Priority Sites for Birdlife Australia. She has been involved in the Birds in Backyards program since it began in 1999. Her work involves scientific research through various Birds in Backyards projects as well as communicating the importance of biodiversity to the broader community.
