Birds & Nests with Ranger Mel

Join us for a fun kids program all about birds and their homes in the Queanbeyan region. Children will enjoy hands on exploration of real bird nests and create their own take home nest to keep. They will also discover how they can be part of Australia’s biggest citizen science project, Aussie Bird Count, and learn more about local birds. Through fun active games, kids will explore bird habitats and find out why it is so important to protect the places birds live.

Parents or caregivers are required to stay in the building for the duration of the program.
