Born in the San Juan Mountains of Southwestern Colorado, Birds of Play has become known for crafting thoughtful songs, rich vocal harmonies, and dynamic arrangements inspired by both the natural world and the shared human experience. Drawing influence from artists like The Wood Brothers, Punch Brothers, Andrew Bird, Watchhouse, and Gregory Alan Isakov, the band creates music that feels both deeply rooted and refreshingly original.

Their live performances are equal parts musicianship, storytelling, humor, and heart, creating an atmosphere that's as captivating as it is welcoming.
