School Holiday Activity: Birds of Stirling Workshop

Join us for an exciting and educational school holiday activity at the Henderson Environmental Centre! This workshop, run by City of Stirling and WA Birds of Prey, is perfect for kids and families who are eager to learn about the magnificent birds of Stirling.
This workshop is suitable for adults and children aged 8 and over, all children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
What to Expect:
- Meet the Birds:Â Get up close and personal with real-life birds brought by WA Birds of Prey.
- Bird Habitats and Diets:Â Discover where these birds live, what they eat, and how we can help preserve their natural habitats.
- Baby Birds:Â Learn about fledglings and what to do if you find a baby bird on the ground.
- Bird Swooping Behaviour: Understand why some birds such as magpies and wattle birds swoop, and how to cope with their swooping behaviour during spring.
