    OCÆN

This will be a very enjoyable Sunday afternoon, with a varied lineup from post punk to cowbell fuzz to jazz metal to surf punk!

    BIRDSVILLE
Formed in 2017, Birdsville are a dynamic force in the post-punk scene, blending influences from Midwest emo and shoegaze into their distinctive sound. With two albums under their belt, ‘How to Lose Your Mind’ (2019) and ‘Rambis’ (2023), Birdsville are maintaining the rage in 2024. Known for their tight and intense live performances the band are gearing up to release ‘The Black Swan EP’ in July. The band is set to take the stage throughout July and August with their signature energy and sonic exploration. Don’t miss the chance to experience Birdsville’s captivating musical journey live.

    SLOWBEARD
Canberra hard rock trio Slowbeard are back at it delivering high energy fuzzy, guitar-driven rock fused with a tendency for musical experimentation involving a whole lot of cowbell, interesting vocal effects and tripped out guitar and bass sounds.

    FABULOUS CONTRAPTION
Fabulous Contraption are a living, breathing machine constructed from modern jazz, experimental metal and progressive rock. Their music moves from slick and streamlined to primordial chaos, from calmly hypnotic grooves to frenetic punk chaos. You’ll hear soaring solos, open-structured improvisations, intricate synthesiser and guitar lines, dirty grooves, and all manner of metric mayhem.

OCÆN As part of their plea bargain and community service terms, Ocæn are required to fit too many guitars on stage all at once. Sometimes they use them to play music
