Birdwatching Ramble and ID Workshop
📍 North Ridge Reserve, Cooma

🕗 8:00am – 10:30am
Join us for a relaxed morning of birdwatching in the beautiful woodlands of North Ridge Reserve, led by author and bird guide Ricki Coughlan.
This free workshop is perfect for beginners and seasoned birders alike. You'll learn how to observe and identify local birds — including some of our region’s threatened species — in their natural habitat.
🦜 What to expect
• Slow-paced walk with plenty of time to observe and ask questions
• Bird ID tips and tricks from a passionate educator
• Insights into the woodland habitat and its birdlife
• Free local native shrub to take home and plant for bird habitat!
👟 What to bring
• Comfortable shoes and water bottle
• Binoculars if you have them
• Your curiosity!
This event is free but registration is essential.
All welcome – suitable for all ages and experience levels.
