Birdwatching Wetland Birds @ Knuckey Lagoons

Shorebirds aren’t just found along the beach! Come along in search of freshwater shorebirds at Knuckey Lagoons (Fiddlers Lane entrance). These Lagoons provide an important habitat for migratory shorebirds, waterfowl and waders.

Hats, sunscreen and a water bottle are encouraged, as well as enclosed footwear.

This event is beginner friendly and binoculars will be provided.

Not an early bird and not keen for 7am? Feel free to join us at any point throughout this session.

Accessibility: no vehicle access onto the reserve, park along Fiddlers Lane. The track can sometimes be uneven and there are no defined paths. There is no bathroom at the Lagoons.
